Withdrawal of hairdressing and extension of beauty therapy qualifications
With great regret, we have decided to withdraw our qualifications in the hairdressing sector on 31 December 2014.
For some years, Pearson has supported the hairdressing sector by developing work-based learning qualifications leading to Apprenticeships and stand-alone qualifications for learners and employers in the sector. Many of these qualifications now need updating to reflect revised National Occupational Standards and continue to meet the needs of learners and employers in the industry. We've reluctantly decided that we can no longer resource the development of qualifications in the hairdressing sector.
We will extend our current suite of hairdressing qualifications until 31 December 2014, which will also be the operational end date of the following qualifications:
