Level 2 Cost Accounting (ASE20110)
The Level 2 Cost Accounting (ASE20110) specification previously stated that a formula sheet may be used in the examination. This was incorrect and a formula sheet is not permitted for this examination and we amended the specification to reflect this.
Financial and Quantitative Diplomas
Due to the Pearson LCCI Level 3 Award in Computerised Accounting Skills (ASE20055) expiring on 31 December 2021, the Pearson LCCI Level 2 Award in Computerised Bookkeeping (VRQ) (ASE20095) has been added as an optional subject for the following three Diplomas:
- Level 3 Diploma in Accounting and Finance (DIPAF13)
- Level 3 Group Diploma in Accounting (DIPGACC3)
- Level 3 Group Diploma in Cost and Management Accounting (DIPGCMA3)
The Pearson LCCI Level 3 Award in Computerised Accounting Skills is a core subject for the Level 3 Diploma in Computerised Accounting (DIPCOMACC11). Therefore, any candidates who wish to claim for this Diploma must have completed this qualification and taken the exam by 31 December 2021.
After this date, new learners who have not taken this core subject will not be able to claim for this Diploma. Candidates who are eligible to claim will have 24 months from the final assessment date to submit a claim.
We updated the LCCI Information Manual to reflect these changes, and you can use the manual to find further details regarding LCCI Diplomas.
Level 3 Digital Marketing and Analytics (ASE20202): Coursebook update
The online student coursebook for the Level 3 Digital Marketing and Analytics qualification had a missing table in Chapter 3 - Digital Marketing and the Marketing Mix under ‘Place’. This table has been added to page 43 and the updated version can be accessed via our website.
Financial and Quantitative specification updates
We have updated the Progression and Exemption sections in all specifications for qualifications in the LCCI Financial and Quantitative suite to ensure the information is up to date, and that the text signposts to the relevant information on our website.
In addition, the introduction sections on page 3 of the specifications have been updated to reflect the latest information for the LCCI suites. Lastly, the number of series under the Assessment summary sections have been amended for each qualification where this was incorrect.
Please note no changes have been made to the qualification content.
