LCCI exam series - October 2020 Update
Pearson are committed to supporting their customers through the recent challenges and uncertainty presented by the COVID-19 (Coronavirus) pandemic. Our priority is the health and safety of our learners, centres, employees and other stakeholders, and our thoughts and best wishes are with everybody affected.
As a result of the fast-moving nature of the COVID-19 situation, and in line with the guidance from local governments and other official bodies operating in our international markets, the Pearson LCCI April, June and July 2020 examination series were cancelled in all regions.
Going forward for the remainder of 2020 and beyond, our intention is that exams will take place and that learners who have worked hard on their LCCI qualifications will have the opportunity to sit their exams. We know how important this is to help learners to progress with their next steps and careers. As such, we are continuing with the published exam timetable.
We understand that it may not be possible for exams to resume in all regions, and where this is the case, we are in communication with our regional representatives. Where candidate entries have been made for an exam series, and subsequently exams are cancelled due to local COVID-19 government and minister guidelines in the regions, centres do not need to take any action for the candidate entries. These candidate entries will automatically be transferred by Pearson to the next available series at no cost to your centre.
Subsequently, if centres feel that their candidates will not be ready to sit the exam at the next available opportunity, please let your regional representative know and they will advise you accordingly. Please view the LCCI FAQs document on this page for clarity to commonly-asked questions.
As many centres prepare to deliver exams in the coming months, centres must always follow the regulations and guidelines issued by their local government to keep candidates and staff safe before, during and after sitting exams. It is also imperative that centres adhere to the Instructions for Conducting Examinations (ICE) guidelines.
September 2020 was the first exam series since the start of the pandemic that went ahead in regions that could resume the delivery of exams. This exam series included all Financial and Quantitative, Business and Marketing exams. For this series, results release will be 30 November 2020.
