Pearson LCCI April 2020 examination series postponement

As a result of the fast-moving nature of the COVID-19 situation, and in line with governments’ and other official advice in the international markets we operate in, the Pearson LCCI April 2020 examination series has been cancelled in all regions

You do not need to take any action for the candidate entries for April. Candidate entries for April will automatically be transferred by Pearson to the next available series at no cost to your centre.

Any centres who have already received the examination materials for the April 2020 series must continue to store these securely at their centre until you receive further instructions. Your local Pearson representative will be in touch and will obtain these materials from you once the situation allows. Please do not destroy any materials.

Pearson LCCI June and July 2020 examination series postponement

We understand the need for clarity in these challenging times and want to keep you continuously updated as new developments unfold. Given the rapidly evolving situation, we have taken the difficult decision to cancel the Pearson LCCI June and July 2020 examination series in all regions.  Our priority must be to act in a manner that is best for the health and safety of everyone concerned.

At this point in time, we are planning and preparing for the next available exam series for September 2020 to include all Financial and Quantitative, Business and Marketing exams. Please note this is dependent on COVID-19 and what happens over the next few months, and consequently is subject to change.

Due to the increased size of the September 2020 examination series, the entry window will open earlier than usual. Please note that the entry window will open on Wednesday 1 July 2020 until Monday 27 July 2020. All centres must submit their examination entries no later than 27 July 2020. This will provide centres with an additional 2 weeks to make entries.

For the September 2020 series, results release will now be 30 November 2020.

The LCCI exam timetable has been updated to reflect these changes.

This is an unprecedented global situation, with governments applying different local changes, laws and guidelines based on their country’s situation. We understand the different situations that you may be facing, and we will be supporting all our international customers, whatever your context. The COVID-19 situation is changing daily, so we’re monitoring latest advice from governments around the world, and we’re also in contact with your local Pearson representatives.

If we have to make any further changes, your local Pearson representative will let you know as soon as possible.
