The APMR launches this month

Our Annual Programme Monitoring Review (APMR) opens on 28 October and centres will have until the end of January 2022 to submit it. All successful submissions will receive an individualised report, benchmarked against the overall findings.

This year we will send each centre a unique link to the survey so it is important that your details are up to date.

If you are a Quality Nominee or a nominated HE contact for your centre, please make sure that your details are correct in Edexcel Online by 25 October.

Update your details

Please note that completion of the APMR is mandatory for all centres delivering BTEC Higher Nationals, and part of our enhanced quality assurance cycle.

Update your approval for HNs in Business

If your centre hasn't been approved to deliver the new specification for Higher Nationals in Business (2021), please complete the re-approval process as soon as possible.

The old specification (2016) expired on 31 August 2021 and in order to register new students, you will need to apply for programme approval.

If you're not sure of the approval status for your centre, please contact us at hnqa@pearson.com.

What's new for HN Online?

Students can now download a Credly badge once they have completed a unit via HN Online and display them on platforms like LinkedIn and Facebook. A digital badge is a great way to show progress in their studies and connect students to relevant career opportunities.

We are still offering one unit of HN Online to centres approved to deliver the new Higher Nationals in Business specification free of charge. If you're interested in trying the blended learning platform with your students this semester, contact us now as the offer expires on 31 October.
