Reminder: Late fees

For BTEC Higher National programmes following the academic year cycle in the UK, the deadline to register students without imposing late fees is fast approaching.

Registrations made from the 16 November 2022 until 23 December 2022 will be charged 1.05 x the registration fee. Registrations received between 24 December 2022 and 31 January 2023 will be charged at 1.1 x fee. Registrations received on or after 1 February 2023 will be charged at 1.25 x fee.

  • Digital Technologies for England and Community Coaching for England are our latest BTEC Higher National qualifications to gain HTQ approval. You can find out more about Higher National HTQs on our website.
  • The updated Centre Guide to Quality Assurance and Assessment plus the Centre Guide to External Examination can also be found on our website.
  • At Pearson, we were recently awarded the Federation of Awarding Bodies 2022 Organisation of the Year for Delivering real impact on Equity, Diversity and Inclusion!

Training spotlight

Take a look at our upcoming BTEC Higher Nationals training sessions on our website, where you’ll find a range of sessions to meet your needs. Higher Nationals textbook E-Library

Our eFlex library on HN Global offers learners the opportunity to rent a recommended resource: a low-cost way to access more of the texts they need, whether for revision or studying longer term. The pricing and access periods available are the same for each textbook, regardless of print prices.


APMR update

Our Annual Programme Monitoring Review (APMR) for the 21/22 academic period will be open shortly. We’ll contact Quality Nominees directly once it is live. Once live, you will notice a shorter and simpler APMR.


Higher Nationals in International Travel and Tourism Management

Version 3 of the programme specification has now been published. A summary of changes can be found in the front pages, and if you are delivering Unit 45 (Sales Management), please refer to the latest updated unit. You can access the specification from the subject pages in HN Global.


Ambassador spotlight: Vinod Salim

After completing his HND in Electrical Engineering in  at Sri Lanka Telecom Training Center, Vinod is now working as an Assistant Electrical Engineer while reading for his final year Bachelors Degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering.
