Our Student Survey is now live.
Student survey - now live!
The BTEC Higher Nationals Annual Student Survey 2022 is now live and will be open from 25 April to 15 June 2022. We are committed to providing each centre, who has at least 8 students complete the survey, with a bespoke results report this year. This report will detail what your students think of your HN programmes and how this compares with other Pearson-approved centres.
You can download our promotional materials pack with posters, email banners and social media posts to help promote the survey around your centre. Please encourage your students to complete the survey by logging into HN Global for their chance to win a £100 Amazon voucher.
Featured training: What's new with the Computing HTQ?
The current BTEC HND in Computing for England specification will expire on 31 August with the new 2022 specifications beginning from 1 September. Staff who will be delivering, or are considering delivering, the new specification in England can sign up to our webinar session introducing you to the new HTQ aspects of the qualification.
Book your place for 15 June 10-11:30am

New validations in Engineering
We have successfully developed and validated five new Higher National Engineering titles in partnership with the West London IoT and Brunel University. These new RQF HN qualifications will be available from September 2022 for all centres to include in their academic portfolio. The new titles are:
- HNC Electronic Systems Engineering
- HNC Electrical Systems Engineering
- HNC Automation and Control Engineering
- HND Electronic and Electrical Systems Engineering
- HND Computer Systems Engineering
Students completing these qualifications will have the opportunity to progress into employment and/or further studies. This comes as a result of the qualifications being aligned to the requirements of the key occupational standards and respective top-up qualifications (i.e. HNC to HND, HND to Level 6 top-up programmes). If you'd like to find out more, please get in touch with us at highernationals@pearson.com.
Updated resources libraries on HN Global
We have been updating some of our resources libraries on HN Global to include a range of engaging resources such as webinars, lectures, reports, articles and more. These materials are a great way for students to continue to develop their knowledge outside of the classroom.
