Higher National Computing Re-Approval
The current Higher Nationals in Computing will expire on 31 August 2022 with the new 2022 specifications for first teach from 1 September 2022. You can view the Computing (2022) specification version on our website, alongside further information about HTQ's.
Approval for the new 2022 specifications will need to be in place prior to September, should you be looking to enrol new students from September 2022. If you currently deliver the Computing (2017) qualification, you can apply for re-approval of the new specification.
To do this, simply submit a declaration form to firstname.lastname@example.org and your request will be processed in line with the re-approval of Higher Nationals guidance. Should you not be eligible for auto-approval, a desk-based review will be required as outlined in the re-approval guidance.
