This year's winners were announced at the official BTEC Awards ceremony in London on Thursday 6th July 2017, which took take place at the world-famous Royal Horticultural Halls in Westminster.

The day was hosted by Steph McGovern, Financial Journalist and TV presenter of BBC Breakfast. Along with this, there was a range of special guest speakers presenting the BTEC Awards to the winners. These guests included: Entrepreneur Peter Jones, Laura McInerney, Editor of Schools Week, Victoria Collier, Project Manager of SLWA Skills for Care, and many more!

This year's ceremony also featured performances from the winners of our BTEC Awards Showstopper Challenge! This included: Sixx, a band from Blackpool Sixth Form College, the Yeovil College Rewired Theatre Company and BTEC Performing Art students from The Maplesdon Noakes School.
