Pearson Onscreen Platform (POP)

The Pearson Onscreen Platform is one of the current platforms used to deliver onscreen, on-demand tests. The software on this page is for customers who currently use Edexcel Online to make their test bookings.

Customers who use the Qualification Management Application to make bookings can access the required software on the Pearson Onscreen Platform support page.

There are currently two versions of the software available, each designed for a different testing environment. To start using the software, please complete the form below.

LAN (classroom)

The LAN version of the software is designed for use in a classroom or IT suite. It gives onscreen coverage of test progress to exams officers and invigilators who are monitoring the tests. The software has three interfaces and a service which connects the software together.

Multi-lingual test player

The multi-lingual version of the software allows for delivery of the tests in languages other than English. Currently this is relevant for customers who are teaching and assessing BTEC in the medium of Welsh. Please note that all components of the Pearson Onscreen Platform (POP) must be installed or re-installed from the link below to allow learners to take tests in languages other than English. The components are: Exam Centre Service, Test Player, Invigilator Dashboard and Administrator Dashboard.

All parts of the software function in the same way as the English only version apart from the option to select the language.
