Training from Pearson
Self-guided Training
Self-guided training is a great way to learn more about the subject/qualification you are delivering or develop skills in a particular topic at a time that is convenient to you. Available 24/7, these courses focus both on subject specific content, as well as more generalist training for the development of best practice.
Below are our courses currently available across our qualifications and more general topics. Please regularly review this page as we continue to release new training content.

Professional development for tutors: Cloud Computing 101
We know that finding tutors with relevant expertise in the cloud may be difficult and could potentially create a barrier to delivering the BTEC Higher Nationals in Cloud Computing. Therefore, a key priority for us at Pearson is to upskill tutors so they can deliver the Cloud Computing with confidence.
As well as the materials in the AWS support pack, which are accessible to all students and tutors on HN Global, we want to highlight the following resources that also may be of interest to our Higher National tutors.
Take a crash course on the cloud, its history, solutions, and why companies across the globe are looking for employees with AWS cloud expertise.
Available through AWS Educate, this programme offers a broad perspective of cloud computing to prepare tutors to talk with confidence about the cloud.
This module takes around 8-10 hours to complete, and individuals are provided with a badge upon completion. You can sign up through AWS Educate.
