Update on Support for Pearson GCSE Physics and Combined Science (Physics) Exams (2025–2027)
The Ofqual consultation has concluded, and as a result, we would like to inform you of the support we will provide for students sitting Pearson GCSE Physics and Combined Science (Physics) exams in 2025, 2026, and 2027.
Pearson will continue to offer support materials in the form of an equation sheet for these exams during this period. Clean copies of the equation sheet will be included with the exam papers for 2025, 2026, and 2027.
The equation sheet for the 2025 exams will be the same as the one used for the 2024 exams. As such, students and teachers are welcome to access the 2024 equation sheet for practice purposes, if they wish. Please find the link to download this below.
If you would like to read the full Ofqual consultation outcome please visit the Ofqual website - see link provided below.
Equation sheets for International Science qualifications
The same approach will be followed for our International GCSE Physics, Science Double Award and Single Award (physics) papers as deatiled in our recent update.
