Our Reviews of marking and moderation (RoMM) services allow you to request us to run additional checks that the grades we've issued your candidates are correct.

Please speak to your Exams Officer if you wish to proceed with a review of marking. Exams officers should contact their Centre Account Specialist on 0344 463 2535 if they require guidance or watch our post results video. All applications for reviews of marking must be submitted through Edexcel Online.

If you are dissatisfied with the outcome of a review of marking, you may wish to appeal against the decision. We will allow the head of centre (or designated member of the centre’s senior management team or examinations manager) 30 calendar days from the receipt of the outcome of the review of marking, during which an appeal may be lodged by sending an email to the following address: edexcelappeals@pearson.com. There is further guidance on appeals on our website.

Grade boundaries for GCSE and A level Maths are made available on results day. Search for the relevant grade boundaries documents on our website. There are two grade boundaries documents – the overall subject level grade boundaries and notional paper boundaries.

Get an overview of how we mark assessments and consistently award grades that fairly reflect a learner's performance.

We’ve created a guide to help students, parents and carers understand results and grades. From results slips and grade boundaries to university applications and certificates, our guide explains all the support that will be available from results day.

Download the guide Understanding results and grades from our website and pass this on to your students so they are ready for results day.

Take a look at our #examsspelledout videos that shine a light on the assessment process and post-results support for students, parents and carers. Look out for further videos in the series coming soon.
