We are running a free online network event on Thursday 30 June, 4–5pm, on the return to teaching all four options for GCSE History. The event will look at planning, refreshing subject knowledge, revisiting the skills students need and sharing teaching ideas and strategies.

On Saturday 25 June 2022, the Balfour Project is holding a free online workshop for History teachers interested in including Israel–Palestine in their secondary curricula.
The Balfour Project is keen to persuade more schools to teach about Israel–Palestine, because of the importance of the subject in Britain’s past, present and future, and its continuing importance to international human rights, international law, peace, justice and equality.

On Monday 27 June 2022, Royal Holloway, University of London, is hosting a major CPD event for teachers of Crusading History featuring lectures and panel discussions.
The event is free.
The SHP summer conference is taking place at Leeds Trinity University, 8–10 July. We will be running two fringe workshops, one for GCSE History (a repeat of the 30 June network event above) and one for A level History (a repeat of the Paper 1 network event from January).
