Calling all teachers! Fieldwork is an important component of the GCSE, AS and A level Geography curriculum and is a great way to get your students involved and to apply the knowledge they have learned in class to practical application out in the field. We think it's also an excellent way for students to develop an appreciation for the beautiful and fascinating world around them.

If you're preparing for fieldwork this term, or if you conducted fieldwork last term, we would love you to share your fieldwork photos with us via Twitter for a chance to win some great fieldwork equipment for your school.

To enter, post a fieldwork photo between 10am (BST) Friday September 27 and 10am Friday 1 November 2019 (GMT). The photo that receives the most retweets by 10am each Friday during the competition (excluding Friday 27 September) will win.

Here’s how to enter:

  1. Follow us on Twitter @edexcel_geog
  2. Take a fieldwork photo
  3. Share your photo on Twitter using #fieldworkfriday and tagging @edexcel_geog, include your school name and location of photo.
  4. Photo with the highest number of retweets by 10am each Friday during the competition (excluding Friday 27 September) will win the weekly prize.
