Remote assessment of the Spoken Language Endorsement for GCSE English Language 1EN0 due to the Covid-19 pandemic
In recognition of the additional challenges teachers and students are facing during the period of school closure as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic, teachers may use video-conferencing tools to assess and video-record students completing their Spoken Language Endorsement assessment in forthcoming exam series until further notice. Please see this guidance before conducting remote assessments and recordings.

Minor amendment to the 1EN2 (2.0) mark schemes from the June 2024 exam series
I am getting in touch to let you know that we have made a very minor update to the mark schemes for GCSE English Language 1EN2, which will take effect in the May/June 2024 exam series.
