Updates to BTEC Specialist Qualifications in Engineering including new units to the Level 3 Diploma in AME Compentence qualification.
Updates to BTEC Specialist Qualifications in Engineering
Please be aware that the unit specification documents for the following qualifications have been updated:
- BTEC Advanced Manufacturing Engineering L3
- BTEC Aerospace and Aviation Engineering L3
This is to make minor amendments to the units: 'Aircraft Gas Turbine Engines' and ‘Aircraft Workshop Methods and Practice’ which appear in both qualifications.

We have also recently updated our Level 3 Diploma in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering (Development Competence) with the addition of the following new units in CNC Machining, pathway 4:
Unit 175 Setting CNC Milling Machines for Production
Unit 176 Machining Components Using CNC Milling Machines
