Summer 2025 Entry Deadline

UK Centres: Don't forget to make your summer 2025 entries for  GCSE and A level Design and Technology by 21 February 2025 (21 March 2025 for International Centres). Late entries will be charged from 22 February, so make sure that you don't miss this deadline.

NEA Support Event Slides

The NEA Support event slides feature exemplar materials from the Summer 2024 series, offering you a clear snapshot of the expectations for the NEA. These slides will be invaluable in assisting you with your marking.

V&A Innovate is an annual National Schools Challenge, asking students in years 7, 8 and 9 to work in teams of 4 – 6 to design a solution to a real-world problem.

Deadline for entry is 10 January 2025.

Design Ventura and other resources

A free, annual design challenge for students in years 9, 10 and 11. Registrations are open for schools to enter the competition. From June, visit the display to discover the top ten shortlisted projects alongside the winner idea.

There are various KS3 teaching and learning resources available from Oak Academy, which can successfully be used as part of a rich programme to prepare learners for GCSE D&T.
