Reminder on the NEA arrangements in 2022/2023

In summer 2023, Non-examined assessment (NEA) will be assessed in it`s entirety, without any adaptations. 

What about the exam? Is there Advance Information?

The DfE and Ofqual have recently confirmed a return on assessment and grading in 2023, meaning that there will not be advance information. Read more below.

Create Education: 3D Printing in Schools Research Project

3D printing and 3D design are critical skills for high quality future STEAM careers. The Additive Manufacturing sector is growing, and set to top 76 Billion Dollars by 2030, just as current Year 7 students enter the workforce. More and more schools are investing in 3D printing technology in order to give their students the head start they need in the competitive job market, providing lots of examples of good practice and anecdotal evidence of the impact that 3D technology is having in the classroom.

Since 2008, however, there has not been an official review of the status of 3D printing in the UK's compulsory education system and The CREATE Education Project aim to change this, helping future students and educators to embed this innovative technology into their curriculum through the creation of an influential white paper.

CREATE Education need your voice! Whether you have a Makerspace full of 3D technology, or you've never seen a 3D printer in real life - they need to know!
