New Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare replaces previous pathway option
You can no longer make registrations or gain approval for the young people's residential management pathway within the Level 5 Diploma for Health and Social Care and Children and Young People's Services qualification (601/4438/5).
You're probably aware that the Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (England) (601/5401/9) has been live for registration since January 2015. You can see the pre-publication specification here. The final version will be on the website by 15 April 2015. The units and structure are set and will not be modified.
This qualification replaces the children and young people's residential management pathway in the Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care and Children and Young People’s Services (601/4438/5). No further registrations or approvals can be made for this pathway. All other pathways within this qualification are unaffected. We'll be amending the current specification (version 4) to reflect the removed pathway.
