Key stage 4 Performance tables in England for 2021 and 2022 results - February 2019 update
Here's an update on the latest release of vocational qualifications included on performance tables in England for 2021 and 2022 results.
We’ve received great news. The Department for Education (DfE) has confirmed that those qualifications that are approved for inclusion in the 2020 performance tables will also be included in performance tables for 2021 and 2022.
We are therefore very pleased to let you know that our BTEC Level 1/Level 2 Tech Awards and the seven of our BTEC Level 1/Level 2 First Awards on 2020 performance tables, will continue to count towards 2021 and 2022 Key Stage 4 performance tables, so you can continue to offer these to your learners this September. Our BTEC Level 3 Nationals (RQF) and BTEC Level 2 and Level 3 Technicals that are included on the post-16 2020 tables will also roll over to 2021 and 2022 performance tables.*
What does this mean for my school or college?
In September, you can continue to deliver the same qualifications you are delivering now, as the performance tables for 2021 and 2022 will contain the same qualifications as the 2020 performance tables*.
For a full list of the qualifications affected, take a look at the updated guide to our qualifications.
*The DfE reserves the right to remove any qualification from the performance tables lists if it has evidence to indicate that a qualification does not meet the characteristics or if wider policy changes mean that a qualification is no longer eligible for inclusion in the performance tables.
