New Funding Flexibility for Pearson Edexcel Level 2 Certificate in Driving Goods Vehicles
To help address the acute shortage of HGV drivers and the urgent need for training, the ESFA have confirmed that centres can use their Adult Education Budget to also cover licence acquisition (Medical and HGV), if they register on the qualification Pearson Edexcel Level 2 Certificate in Driving Goods Vehicles - for details see:

New End Point Assessments in Logistics Sector
Pearson already offers EPA in the standards Supply Chain Warehouse Operator, Supply Chain Operator and LGV Driver. We are aware of the critical training needs in the sector for drivers and are considering offering new EPAs for Urban Driver (new standard for 7.5t + vehicles) to help specialisations.
Reminder: Qualification Extensions and Withdrawals for 2022
The following qualifications are being extended/withdrawn as follows. For qualification withdrawals, no new learner registrations will be permitted after the dates indicated.
