This qualification has recently been reviewed and updated to ensure all legislation and guidance is up-to date and fit for the sector. There have been no changes to the Learning Outcomes or Assessment Criteria.

We are currently considering the development of digital content for Safe use of medicines covering the content for:

  • Understand Medication and Prescriptions 

  • Supply, Storage and Disposal of Medication 

  • Understand the Requirements for the Safe Administration of Medication 

  • Record-keeping and Audit Processes for Medication Administration and Storage

NVQ in Laboratory and Associated Technical Activities

Help learners start the journey to becoming Registered Science Technicians with the Science Council 

We are pleased to announce that our NVQ Level 3 in Laboratory and Associated Technical Activities (600/1731/4) and BTEC Nationals in Applied Science have been recognised by Science Council to meet the requirements of the Science Council’s Registered Scientist Technician (RSciTech) professional award.
