Healthcare Assistant Practitioner
As a reminder to centres, the Healthcare Assistant Practitioner Standard has been reviewed by the Trailblazer group. The revised standard is now titled Assistant Practitioner (Health) - ST0215. The latest version of this standard can be found here:
Assistant Practitioner (Health) - IFATE
All Learners from the 1 February, 2023 will need to be registered to this version. The new version of the Assessment Plan mandates that the qualification must be a Foundation Degree integrated into the EPA process so therefore the HEI (Higher Education Institution) delivering the apprenticeship must be on the EPAO register to complete the apprenticeship.
We will continue to offer EPA services for learners who are registered to the Healthcare Assistant Practitioner Standard version 1.0.

Healthcare Support Worker EPA
The Standard and Assessment Plan for the Healthcare Support Worker (ST0216) Version 1.1 has been amended and approved for delivery from the 1 November 2022.
