Local network events for GCSE and A level Geography

Our network events will focus on feedback on the 2018 exam series, key themes in candidate performance in the 2018 exam papers and practical guidance on how to address these key themes through teaching or exam preparation.

Pre-recorded feedback events

This year we’re making all our GCSE and A level Geography exam feedback training available as pre-recorded training. These will go up on the pre-recorded training page for everyone to watch, free of charge in late October/early November. These comprehensive training materials will cover all papers.

A level Geography coursework marking training

These free events are designed for teachers who are delivering our A level Geography specification and seek guidance on marking the coursework.

  • Pearson Edexcel A level Geography - Paper 3: preparing students for the synoptic investigation - online | 4 February 2019, 4 p.m. - 6 p.m.

Further support for GCSE and A level Geography

In addition to this training we will also be publishing exemplar student responses from the summer 2018 exams with examiner commentaries. These will be available on the relevant qualification pages from late October. Don’t forget the examiners' reports from summer 2018 also contain exemplar responses and you can use our free access to scripts service to get access to your own students’ scripts until 14 December 2018.
