Specification update: December 2017

We've made some minor amends to our BTEC National in Forensics and Criminal Investigations:

  • Unit 1, Learning Aim B3 change to wording. Please see the Erratum Notice under Course Materials for more details.
  • Unit 1 assessment length has been extended to 2 hours. The number of questions and marks has not changed.

We've also resubmitted the Diploma and Extended Diploma to the DfE for approval on the post-16 performance tables in England (2020 results). This includes a change to the assessment of Unit 5 and Unit 7, which are both now single part tasks. Please see the updated specification and SAMs for more information.
