Hayley completed her BTEC last year and is currently studying Sports Coaching at Leeds Beckett University, after which she plans to become a PE teacher. She won 'Outstanding BTEC Sport Student of the Year' at last year's BTEC Awards.
Professor Mba is the Dean of Mechanical Engineering at London South Bank University. He has published over 100 journal papers, and in 2013 he set up Shell's very first centre of excellence in Condition Monitoring.
Peter Jones CBE
Peter Jones is an entrepreneur and businessman who founded the Peter Jones Enterprise Academy in 2009. He is an advocate for work-related education and a firm supporter of BTEC.
Joey is an undergraduate in Diagnostic Radiography at London South Bank University and former BTEC Applied Science Student. The range of modules on the course gave her the opportunity to try different areas so she could see which fields she wanted to pursue for further study.
Lisa du Lieu
Prior to joining the University of Huddersfield in 2014, Lisa's career focused on marketing for well-known brands in the UK and Middle East. Lisa has held marketing positions in both the private and not-for-profit sectors. She is now a Senior Lecturer in Marketing.
Former BTEC student, Tim was awarded 'Outstanding BTEC Tutor of the Year' in 2015. He is an inspirational, innovative educator who considers it an honour to pass on his skills and knowledge to the next generation of artists and designers, and to develop the talent that exists in young people.
Joe is an apprentice at Unilever and former BTEC student. Getting proper work experience and a qualification at the same time was the best option for him and his BTEC really prepared him for this.
