Pearson Teaching Awards 2018

The Pearson Teaching Awards are our way of ensuring your amazing colleagues receive national recognition, and as we celebrate our twentieth year, we want this year’s awards to be bigger and better than ever.

Rod Bristow, President of Pearson's core markets including the UK, says: “Supporting the Pearson Teaching Awards gives us a unique opportunity to champion exceptional teaching professionals across the UK. Pearson has long held lifelong learning to be at the heart of all its business. All young people deserve the very best chance to make progress in their lives through education.

“That is why we believe it’s vital to recognise inspirational teachers for their commitment to teaching and learning and improving the life chances of the next generation.”

Finalists are selected by our panel of judges for a Silver Teaching Award, which are announced on ‘Thank a Teacher’ day each year. All Silver Award winners are then considered for a Gold Award. These are announced at the glittering Pearson Teaching Awards UK Ceremony, which will take place in London in October 2018 and will be filmed and broadcast on BBC2.

Entries can be submitted by schools or colleges in England, Wales and Northern Ireland before Friday 16th March at 5pm.
